The Origin of Christian Denominations

The Church in the Book of Acts started in Jerusalem. The Early Apostolic Church believed in only one God, and that the name of that God was Jesus Christ. They baptized all the new converts in the name of JESUS CHRIST. They all received the baptism of the Holy Ghost as written in:

Acts:2:3-4: And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts:2:38: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts:10:44-48: While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

These same Apostolics of the origianal church followed only the inspiried Old Testamant and later New Testament Commandments. They also lived very modest lives. Let's take a look at the roots of denomination from that time on. Let's observe what has happened in this brief outline of the Historical roots of the New Testament church. We shall observe how the trintiy influenced denomination or SEPARATION in the New Testament, unto today and until the return of Christ.

As we can see above, denominations have clearly grown since the birth of the Church. Why? Because of pagan influence, and the root began this separation from the Council of Nicea forward. This will remain and grow larger, more pagan, and more admired by this world, until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. These who worship in a triad form think they are saved, but biblically we can only conclude they are deceived. May God help us to labor in the Lords harvest that much more in these end times. For it is no wonder now what was meant concerning the separation of the church, the influence of pagan idolitry, dogma, worship in these branches that cased the Lord to say the Parable of the church he saw coming today:

Matt:13:24-30: Another parable put he (JESUS) forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
